It is better to say nothing, than to be this cruel to people. Is this the way you would like for someone to talk to you? Think before you say something or wright it.

I cut my sticks in half (into cubes), put them in a small bowl one at a time and microwave on low power (power level 2 out of 10), checking every 5 seconds. It only takes about 10-15 seconds total per cube. Any longer than that and you’ll have melted butter!
fun tips! Thanks!! I often forget to soften the butter!
I am glad of this video because I always need a way to soften butter. I forget to take butter out to soften. Thank you for the tips.
Good to know.
Thanks – I think I would put it in a zip lock baggie before I put it in my pocket. I know me it could get ugly.
Thanks for the great tips. I’ll have to try them.
Thanks for the great tips. I’ve never tried any but will make sure I do when needed.
Alternately, Martha Stewart recommends beating cold butter in the mixer with the paddle attachment to soften, before adding additional ingredients. I can’t wait to try your warm water idea, though.! The same can be done for eggs that need to be at room temp. 10 minutes in a hot water bath will do it.
Great tips! I’ve done the rolling pin idea, but not the others. Thanks!
Love it! Thanks for sharing:) Now I’m going to make your vanilla cupcake recipe!
Great tips!!
Thanks! I NEVER remember to take the butter out early!
Thanks
